VSAR ORIENTATION
VSAR kicks off the beginning of the new school year with annual Orientation, a “meet-and-greet” event where Ryerson members and other community members are invited to learn more about VSAR as a student organization. This includes the introduction of the new executive team, our goals, and events for the year, and networking time opened to all. Fun games and tasty Vietnamese food will be served to bring the community together.

PHỞ NIGHT
Nobody can resist a hot, delicious bowl of Phở at any time, anywhere. With this in mind, VSAR takes our executives and anyone who wishes to join us on a foodie trip to a local Vietnamese restaurant where we have Pho and a good time together. This is also a perfect time to share meaningful conversations in a close, family alike environment and meet new friends. New restaurants will be selected each year to expand VSAR’s foodie map to share with members.
LUNAR NEW YEAR
Lunar New Year is the biggest festival celebrated by Vietnamese around the world. This stays true to VSAR, as we take this time of the year to catch up with our loved ones, reflect the accomplishments in the past year, and hope for the next best things to come in the New Year. Through a series of culturally implemented games and dinner time, VSAR hopes to bring our community together, tighten the bonds, and spread the positive message for the rest of the new year.
IGNITE
VSAR – as a part of UVSA Eastern Canada, attend The Ignite Cultural Show every year. This is an annual event that gathers VSAs across Eastern Canada to showcase our love to Vietnamese culture through unique performances with a new dedicated theme each year. With all the hard work putting in creating scripts and rehearsals, VSAR is proud to be on the top finalists in 2018 and 2020.
